Adam Sandler vs. Jim Carrey

Who is the funnier actor/comic...Adam Sandler of Jim Carrey...My vote goes to Jim Carrey...

Adam Sandler used to be hilarious back in the day... but I don't know what happened. I guess he had kids, then became un-funny. As far as Jim Carrey goes, he's a weird ass dude, but I like some of his stuff. I especially liked Eternal Sunshine Of the Spotless Mind, but that wasn't a comedy.

So, if my vote went for younger Adam Sandler vs younger Jim Carrey then Adam Sandler would win, but if were talking about now then yeah Jim Carrey.

I don't necessarily know if he became "Unfunny" but it is a different kind of comedy...I guess it's good to see him branch out...But, going from things like Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison to Jack and Jill and Just Go With It...It's different...A whole different kind of funny...I'm not sure if it's good or bad...Though I'll admit, Jack and Jill was pretty lame...

Metal- Communications Expert - Playing his choice music at full blast! and applying face paint
La Femme Fatale- Breaking and Entering Specialist - running her bored fingers through Albert Weskers CD collection looking for some GAGA, as she waits for the Delta team to arrive seeing she's by-passed the security already...probably broken his spinning globe that sits on his desk also.
Storyofmylife- Medic/Chemicals Expert - Putting her stethoscope against random objects, then breaking out into fits of giggles at the different noises she hears. Then inviting others to listen, only to be looked at blankly by everyone.
Magnolia Grandiflora- Pilot - Our very own aviator shade, bubble gum chewing ball breaking chopper pilot, a bit like this,

Romero- Weapons Maintenance - Waves his hand gun about asking whos been ****ing with his sights!!?
Kennedy Killer- Marksman- with one leg hanging out the chopper as he tests out his rifles scope, before turning the gun in on the chopper and aiming at a poster of Ashley Graham stuck on the wall with darts on her face.

I don't think either of them are too funny at face value, but Carrey has been in much better movies overall.

Adam Sandler had Happy Gilmore and then pretty much went downhill from there.

Jim Carrey had The Truman Show, Dumb and Dumber, Liar Liar and Bruce Almighty.
Not to mention his amazing non-comedic role in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

I find both of them grossly overrated in terms of comedy, to be honest. I've never found Adam Sandler very funny, and all Jim Carrey seems to be able to do well is make dumb faces. Although Eternal Sunshine was good.

Hmm...What have we learned today...

-Optimism is key...Well I have that in spades!
-VP is too busy to bleed...Cool, so you're a regular everyday superman
-All of Delta Team are Ultimate Badasses, with VP being the biggest badass of all...Dude...Alpha team can SUCK IT!

I used to think both were really funny. Now they no longer appeal to me as much.

However, Jim Carrey did an excellent portrayal of Andy Kaufman which was almost perfect. For that, he gets my vote.

I haven't seen either of their movies in a long time, but I can barely stand to watch previews of Jack and Jill, while Mr.Pauper's Penquins looks kind of good.

Also, he's the Grinch. How much more badass can you possibly get?

Lol...The Grinch was a pretty killer role...And I highly suggest Mr. Popper's Penguins...Just cause it's a nice, fun, family film that everyone can enjoy...I really loved it, despite it being kind of lacking in box office sales...
