Personally, Valkyrie Profile remains my top PS1 game. But RE2 is def my top RE game. Easily top 10 PS1.

I'm on the boat that feels RE4 was needed for the series in terms of escaping the tired and clunky controls of the series beforehand. Now, don't get me wrong.
