  • Sorry, I can't help it! It seems that you're correct most of the time and I can become very jealous when someone seems to be better than me and thus I tend to try pointing out their flaws  So, STOP being so perfect! And now stop laughing at me as well :p

Anyway even in your version of the joke the prisoners have a passive role. It's all about the actions of Hitler again.

And now I remembered another thing as well. It's funny how I gave a full reply to you in the death penalty thread when you were only supporting it for guys like Hitler while they were other members who were supporting it for many more occasions!
lol i know right, needless to say my evaluation didnt go over well :p

Am i seeing this right? Both Modererators 'Online' at the same time
Hi sugar pants, how are you feeling? :) Have you had your last poutine for a while?

I've bought some presents already, one more today. My sisters have bought some things as well, we always cooperate on family presents. Hmm am I using the right word? I'm not sure if I should say presents or gifts.

So you normally bake xmas cookies? Haha I never do that (surprise surprise :p). I rely on shops and the females in the family lol.

The exams should have been some days earlier and I agree it's not fair to have them so close to xmas.
Actually the joke above is aiming at the cruel guy/Hilter himself. Jews/Prisoners dying by Hitler/cruel guy is just a fact to complete the story. The fun in it is how a very cruel man can be cruel even in his kind days. Some people do find the joke funny only due to hate but it's still funny if you look past this.

Now, about stereotypes being used in jokes it's not something that happens for the first time. I guess most of us have laughed at blonde jokes before. The use of stereoypes in jokes is to quickly get an image of what the joke is about. So when we hear "blonde", we quickly think "it's about stupitidy" or when we hear "Jew" we think "it's about a stingy person". Hell, I know that there are blondes smarter than me or Jews who spend more money than me. Every person is different.

What I want to say is that there are limits in humour but they are defined by the audience. When it comes to excessive houmor one should be really careful before saying anything because the point of joking is to make someone laugh. If he feels offended instead he'd better not say the joke at all.
And what if I replace the words "very cruel man" with "Hitler" and the "poor prisoners" with "jews". You'd still not be shocked? Because to me it's the same joke.
Oh, I see. I used to always hate it when I got excited and signed up for a class but then it ended up being so small it was either like your situation or cut completely.

That sounds pretty cool and, get ready for some positivity here, but I'm sure you can do it. You're La Femme Fatale after all.
Hey LFF, do you have a problem with the joke below? (Be cautious!)

Very cruel man(talking to his prisoners): Today I will be kind to you. I won't kill as many as I usually do but I will organize a running competition instead and only kill the first and the last one.
    Poor prisoners: Woohooo
Very cruel man: So, The first two.. start running.
Ouch - such a bad time to be shopping. Sorry about the exams, by the way, schools always have to work you up until the last minute so you can never enjoy anything. *shakes head sadly* School? Psh! More like prison or a work camp.
Oh I'm fine except for the fact that I can't find one of the best BtVS episodes ever online - kind of ticking me off, you know.

Eh, Christmas never really held much for me, I've never been into the holidays - I'm not even sure how much time is left until Christmas is to tell the truth.

What about you? Are you excited?
Yah! I missed mod LFF. :D I love Romero but he's always so kind - I think it's nice to have two different mods with two different personalities. You know, one nice mod and then a badass mod. Just to kind of even things out.
Did you feel sick the day after too? It must have been something.

I dread a bit for Christmas... I'm late with preparations. But I look forward to it as well, of course. What about yourself?
I'm getting to it...its next on my list of sh*t that needs to be repaired lol. At the latest mid-January... i'm detoxing and its not a pretty site
What are you food poisoned? I hope you feel well when you wake up. :(
I'm okay, just a bit annoyed because something is disturbing the tv signals and the washing machine broke down.
Hi dolly, what are ya up to and how are you? :) I didn't think we were done PM-ing, but I know you are busy these days.
I'm not sure about the DC section - since the virus problems started I've been cutting back on my site travels so that things are narrowed down to a few spots, less risk that way. FF was unfortunately one of the ones cut as was yahoo so I haven't been able to check my mail in a really long time or my FF account - though I was able to briefly get on and check one or two things.I'll definitely try to think of something, though.

I appreciate it. :D It's always nice to have people to go to and sometimes I feel like I don't have that at home. I'll definitely keep your offer in mind - and that offer extends both ways as well. ;)
lol great...so now my life long dream of playing professional mode with you is forver lost because of your trigger happy fingers. you've no doubt surpassed me in both skill and speed in all of the extra content.... i hope you dont mind a piggy back
