Revelations 1 Why Chris and Jill weren't partners?

Hello everyone! I was wondering why Jill was partnered with Parker and Chris with Jessica. When Jessica asks Chris about Jill, he says that she's "his partner from before". So obviously Jessica was his partner not for just one mission. Was it ever explained in the game why it was like that?

Well, Chris and Jill were partners before they joined the BSAA. After they joined, they were probably just assigned new partners. The BSAA was still pretty new in Revelations, and with Chris and Jill being veterans with this sort of thing, it's probably best they work with new people and spread their skill and experience wherever they can, than have them working side by side all the time.

But both Parker and Jessica were FBC agents before they joined BSAA. So they already had a lot of experience with BOWs.

The real guestion is, why they're not a pair.

It makes more sense to partner a veteran with a fairly new recruit to show them the ropes so perhaps that was the reason.
