Whats your opinion on spinoffs?

So what do you guys all think about spin offs?
Do you like them/hate them, why?

I personally don't care for spin offs. It seems that every spin off cant devolop a good story. ORC, outbreak, GS3.

These are just a couple and I a couple others I'm not gonna go in to detail about.

I don't have anything againse spin-offs...I mean...If they're good they're good if they suck they suck...If it's good it's becauseit's doing something right, and if it's bad it's because it sucks...Just because it's a spin-off doesn't mean it's automatcially gonna suck...

Good Spin Off Examples:
The Cleveland Show = Spin off of "Family Guy"
Secret Agent Clank = Spin off of "Ratchet and Clank" series
Chasing Amy = Spin off of "Clerks"
Fraiser = Spin off of "Cheers"

Examples of BAD Spin offs
Jonnie Loves Chachi = Spin off of "Happy Days"
Caveman = A TV show spin off of the Gieco Caveman Commercials
Legend of Zelda Cartoon = Spin off of the LoZ game Series
And EVERY new Poke'mon cartoon = ****TY Spin off of Poke'mon games...

See...It goes both ways...
