Linkin Park’s new single with… a girl singer. And honestly, I kinda like it? I knew it was never gonna be lyrically/vocally the same without Chester, but it sounds close enough to how a new LP album should sound in the year 2024 and she sings pretty damn good. She even sounds like she can do the signature screams if need be. I’m just glad they went back to their rock/nu-metal roots, it sucks that One More Light had to be the last thing recorded with Chester (R.I.P.). Looks like they’re moving past that pop sh!t, they didn’t play a single song from One More Light in yesterday’s livestream show.
