From Resi 5 we learn that when Uroboros does not adapt to the test subject's DNA, the subject's cells get transformed into the black worm-like creatures which then burst out of the skin and start hunting for food to sustain it's growth.

My question is this: what happens when Uroboros does successfully adapt to the subject's DNA? These were to be Wesker's new breed of humans, but we don't see or know exactly what happens to a person who is 'accepted' by the virus... do we? Or am I missing something?

I guess maybe they get powers like Wesker... but any more accurate info would be great.

I thought we saw it...
I thought Wesker at the end of 6-3 was the sole example of someone getting "accepted" by the viurs, he maintained full control of himself and his sanity (what little he had, LOL) and wielded the virus as opposed to it wielding him (like it did it's hosts the first three times you encountered it...).

I think Super Wesker is as good as it gets.

We Are Ninja sounds right. But he was already "infected" by the other virus, so it could have had different results with him. I too am curious on the effects of a "chosen" human.

I guess the subject that is accepted by the uroboros can control himself and the uroboros, the failed subjects were consumed by the uroboros and dissapeared creating some kind of worm crazy rampage. I think wesker final form would be something better because the final form was not as great as I though it will be

Wesker probably was compatible with the Uroburos virus since he was a carrier of Progenitor. But since he was already technically superhuman we can't be sure if what happenned to Wesker was the desired effect of the virus.

He survived the infection and was able to control Uroboros at his will, so i believe he is an example of a compatible subject. Maybe other compatible subjects wouldn't get so strong, but they'd comtrol Uroboros and would keep their will

I just watched the cutscene where Excella infects a test subject with Uroborus. At first the worm-like pustules burst from him. But then they recede into his body and he gets orange slit pupils like Wesker and starts to briskly walk towards Chris and Sheva, looking murderous. But then the pustules reemerge from his body Excella says how its too bad he was rejected. It could be that Wesker wasn't compatible with the virus. Since the pustules feed on any organic matter around them it probably wouldn't be too practicle to have an entire race of these things walking around.

I think this is right. The man Excella has experimenting on was the closest thing to Wesker's new Human race we'll get to see, just before Uroboros rejected him, at least.

As for Wesker, I don't think he was compatible with Uroboros. The reason he didn't explode with Uroboros is simply due to his superhuman durability. In the last battle with Wesker, you can his eyes glowing significantly - his virus probably working overtime to keep Wesker alive.
