Kinda off topic but they also showed a trailer for "The Lost Legacy" dlc for Uncharted and a trailer for the Crash Bandicoot N-Sane Trilogy. Totally hyped for those too.

Wow, just wow! I didn't think that story could actually be continued, but apparently they came up with something, and I'm excited for it, even though I'll never play it myself. And those graphics... I know I'm repeating myself, but... wow!

Actually I made a mistake. The Lost Legacy is a stand alone Uncharted game. I just thought it was that single player dlc for U4. This is even better

This looks awesome, So excited!!! I'm also really looking forward to the Uncharted game as Chloe is my favourite character and it'll be good to see what's up with Nadine too. The Crash remasters look great as well!

So I heard a crazy theory about what could be going on in the trailer.

People are speculating that Joel is dead and Ellie is having a psychotic episode as she thinks she is talking to him. That would explain Joel's very calm tone and Ellie's rage.

I love this theory but hate it at the same time!

I know, it's not bad writing but I love Joel too... I thought they were going to kill him off in the first game at one point. Honestly I'll be more surprised if a major death doesn't occur this time around though.

Hmm. I don't really agree with that theory, and I would hate it if they killed Joel, haha.

My theory is that the Fireflies are still after Ellie and they kill someone close to her, but not Joel. I think that would explain the level of rage we see from her. Along the way I also think that it'll be confirmed to her that Joel lied and they'll have some sort of confrontation about that. But maybe these are my theories because I wanted these things from a sequel as soon as I finished the first game.

As a side note, Naughty Dog have said that where the first game was about love, this one is about hate. While I think this could be very interesting, I hope we don't lose those relationship elements that gave the first game its charm. Then again, it's Naughty Dog and they write stories well, so maybe this slight concern I have shouldn't be there.

That could be true too but then again, other than Joel, who else is left that Ellie cares deeply about?
It looks like a good amount of time has passed since the first game, so idk if it will be about Marlene's death.

The ending of the first game left me with the impression that Ellie didn't believe him.

Whatever is going on, I'd like to see Bill again and maybe have Ellie work with him at some point.

I've been thinking maybe the next game has something to do with Ellie's mother. Because we know that Ellie's mother died 6 years after the outbreak started. but we don't know how she died. So this might be an interesting plot and may explain the hate.
