I know im a few years late but if you're replaying CV in 2026, Im here to help!
I see many people have trouble with Steve and Alexia, so thought I'd share my tips for beating them easily. Alexia not so much, I mightve got lucky.
Steve: You do not need to run from him and you do not need a ton of health items. Actually all you need is a grenade launcher and about 10-15 rounds of any ammo and you wont get hit once.
If you notice, there are three statues you walk past as you approach Steve in the chair. These are your markers.
You'll want to equip the launcher with the most amount of ammo of any type of ammo (I used 12 grenade rounds). Once the cut scenes is over you hit him with a round. The next step is important!
You can back pedal TWICE before having to him him with another round. Repeat this as you walk past the three statues. If you do have health items and you haven't been hit once, once you get near the third statue you can hit him with a round and quick turn and run out of there, easy!
Alexia: I did not need a lot of ammo, but i did need first aid spray and a couple of double green herbs.
I equipped a magnum with 15 rounds and a shotgun with about 12 rds (didnt need all of it). I also had a knife.
Once I started, I hit her with a couple of magnum rounds then headed off to the right side of her to as close as I could and unloaded rounds into her. I got pushed back but fired as much as I could while using health items.
I had to leave this spot, dodging the ****ing annoying ass critters and headed to the left side of her. I ran out of magnum ammo, so I switched to the shotgun. I got as close to her as possible and it sort of keeps the vagina critters off you, so I unloaded on her with the shotty. And that was that!
She turns into her final form so you have to grab the energy weapon. Just fire once and keep moving until you get lucky enough to hit her. Her attacks are easy to dodge just be patient and you got it!
