Btw who is looking forward to Sonic 4 Episode 2? I can't wait. It's coming out next month (but apparently not for the wii) and if u already have episode 1, you will get episode metal for free! It bridges the gap between Sonic CD & Sonic 4 and you get to play as metal sonic

I like them all really. Never played heroes or free riders. I love what they done with generations, it's a combo of old & new and the gameplay is solid. I'm actually playing through unleashed atm and I'm really enjoying it even tho I'm stuck on eggmanland, damn that's a hard level. Of course they could of left the werehog levels out lol.

Oh ya...I think the Dreamcast era was the best, because that was my first REAL experience with a gaming system...And Sonic was by far the best...I haven't got a chance to try Sonic 4 yet...I'm waiting till all the episodes are released, because they said that once they are, they're going to make a hard copy on disc with every episode...I'd much rather have that than just several downloads...

The whole thing is supposed to be like old school Sonic from what I read...

It is kinda old school but they added the homing attack from the modern sonic games. The levels and bosses are like updated versions of the old ones.

Hmm...That depends...My favorite era, as stated above, is the Dreamcast Era...Which is in between both...

Hard to pick between the two. Classic sonic had great platform levels but the modern sonic is more about speed... So atm I prefer the modern sonic games since I just completed Sonic Unleashed and thought it was awesome (Last boss was a pain in the ass though).
