The Lost Boys reboot

So apparently this is a thing. The CW is rebooting The Lost Boys as a show and my childhood is dying. This is one movie I can honestly say I never wanted to see remade or rebooted.

I must say though, I didn't care so much for the sequel but I adore the first movie. I've bought it in every format and can recite the entire movie in my sleep lol.

I thought the franchise had ended due to contractual issues. I don't really like reboots, remakes, or whatever they are referring to these as now. I just think it suggests that they are lazy and want to milk something that was already kind of huge, or was or is huge already. "Critters" is coming back too, and there is rumours that they may link it to the movies. I got to say, that it is not the 80s anymore.

I really think Hollywood wants to kill off our childhood.
