What were your thoughts on it if you have played it or are playing it?
Ps sorry if this has already been done I looked and could not find anything :/

My thought are, its an amazingly emotional game from beginning to end. I loved it!

Hate it,

I barely enjoyed it the first time and Forced the 2nd time. It gets stale VERY quick and I regret buying it I hope it dies in a hole with ND they screw up everything as of late

I thought it was a great game, not as good as everyone made it out to be but still very good. I have finished my third playthrough and i'm two trophies away from the platinum (damn multiplayer trophies!). I did really connect with the characters and found it very emotional, no video game has ever made me cry within the first 20 mins before!

I bought it today, but I haven't gotten around to playing it. However I did play a bit of it on its launch week when me and my friend went to pick her copy up and we did play a little bit of it (Thankfully not a whole lot and we stopped around where you first meet Ellie.) and I thought it was awesome (Except the part with the girl dying at the beginning. I started crying at that part. But there is one thing, how "Drugs. I sell hardcore drugs." become a meme and something as repetitive as "I took an arrow to the knee" did. Maybe its just me, but I really do think that "Drugs. I sell hardcore drugs." should become a meme.)

Im not a crier, but I teared up at the beginning (luckily my fiance did not see me do it, or he would have laughed )
I wanna play it again very soon! I just really enjoyed it, and like yall said, you can really relate to the characters, which is rare in a vid game-for me

I absolutely loved it, for me it was one of the greatest games released this gen and the most "grounded" zombie/infected story and scenario in a game, Joel is just a man, he's not a hero or a noble man, this reflects his decisions. I teared up bad at the start too, it is very rare a video game can make me act on emotion, at the end of the game i totally agreed with Joel.

I agree joel wasnt some beefed up hero, he was your average joe-schmo who got thrown in a bad world where he needed some light, and elli was his light.

Well I completed the game a few days ago (And I forgot to put in what I thought about it) and I LOVED IT! I honestly can't say anything bad about it besides 2 things, I came across some glitches but not a whole lot only like 2 glitches and I did have some problems with freezing, but overall I enjoyed the game. The only thing that I can truly say that I didn't like about the game was that in the only boss fight in the game that you could be instantly killed, that would be fine with me if it wasen't due to the checkpoint (The first time that I did die by him and the game reloaded I was instantly killed almost immediately, I tried to get away with as much leeway that the game gave me, but since that leeway was extremely small since I was only right behind the corner and he was sprinting I only died within a matter of seconds.), but I still enjoyed the boss fight and to be honest it is one of the better boss fights I've seen, I thought that it was incredibly easy to figure out but disturbing and kinda did get my heart pumping knowing that one mess up can lead to death. I think one of my favorite aspects about the game was that the game encouraged you to explore the levels to find more supplies, notes, letters, comics, pendants, recordings, and to hear some optional dialog. And also Thank You Naughty Dog for not making AI partners such as Ellie, Tess, Bill, Sam, etc., etc., brain dead and actually helpful and thank you for making it where they won't mess up any stealth parts by making them invisible to enemies (While it doesn't make sense, I'm actually glad they did that because their AI does move around quite a bit and in front of enemies and if they were visible when those times happen then I would be infuriated and agitated. I can completely understand Naughty Dog's decision to make them invisible so that way we don't have to experience constant headaches.) and as an escort game and it feels good knowing that I won't have to worry about the AI messing up or getting themselves killed all the time (Unlike a certain other game that heavily involved stealth and you had to escort someone where if you did try to stealth pass the enemies and the AI that you were escorting does go out the enemies will spot them and will go immediately after you , aka AMY. I don't care if you came out last year, I don't care if you've been updated and patched, and I don't care if your price was dropped and is now insanely low. I still hate you.).

Overall I love the game and I'm going to go back to it multiple times.

I think I've already posted my thoughts on this game in another thread already so I'll just agree with most of you and say it's emotional, it's got great memorable characters & and an amazing story. I think Naughty Dog done a great job capturing the post apocalyptic world in the game.

Oh and btw - Drugs. I sell hardcore drugs. xD
