Resident Evil - Code: Veronica The code for the computer is "Veronica"

Near the end of Code: Veronica you activate a self-destruct system by inputting a code into the computer which is none other than "VERONICA". Is that why the game is called; "Code: Veronica", because I didn't actually play it and I'm just curious?

Before I googled that.. I originally thought of it just being that woman in the painting somewhere in the game. Veronica Ashford.
