I think my Steam account is finally letting me have friends. My username is personathanatos (My avatar is Shadow the Hedgehog). I'm not on Steam that much and I only have 2 games on Steam (TF2 and DotA2), but I'm up for TF2 anytime (If it decides to start working. I have no idea what is wrong with it when I play it. The framerate starts keeps going down the toilet everytime I play it.).

mine is wake_up_ne0 (with a zero) and i have left 4 dead 2, re5/6 , Arma II + Day z, Battlefield 3, black ops II, Unreal III Black and a couple others i forget. anyway I'll add you guys if thats cool

You have ARMA II and the DayZ mod for it? Oh **** naw. Me is highly jealous of you and will not speak to you ever again. I'm kidding, but I am jealous. I really want to get ARMA II so badly, and its expansions, and the DayZ mod.

haha ^ ^ yes i brought it when it was the Steam Sale like 1 .5 weeks ago, i think the complete arma II collection was about £12.99 in UK. I've never played a game so realistic and life-like. Except for the ****ty zombies (they run around laggy and that). The actual map terraine, trees grass etc, houses and all the area look very realistic! I was recommended to wait for Arma III and the Day Z Standalone game but i really wanted to play it having just got the new PC and all :)

I was thinking about waiting for ARMA III and the upcoming DayZ standalone, however I don't think my computer can handle ARMA III (My computer isn't old. I am kinda confident that it can handle ARMA III since if it can handle TF2 and DotA 2, it'll more than likely will but it might not as they both use the Source Engine.) and there is no telling what my computer can and can't handle (For some reason it can run TF2 and DotA2 just fine, but when I tried the game Cry Of Fear, a free indie game that uses the Half-Life 1 engine, it barely worked as it was lagging awfully in the beginning and when I actually got into the game itself it ran just fine but wouldn't let me continue after I opened a certain door. If anyone knows how to fix problems like this then please let me know because I do want to play Cry of Fear without having it crash or in this case "stop responding" after I open a certain door.). Plus I am impatient to wait for ARMA III and DayZ, so I am thinking about going for ARMA II first then get its stand alone expansion Operation Arrowhead and then the DayZ mod. I did see some gameplay and while it looks extremely buggy and laggy I still think that I might enjoy it since it is not 100% finished.

Also to Shinigami7724, I just took the time to send you a friend request.

Yes i think it is still enjoyable to play, with its bugs, the buggy thing is the zombies. The pvp combat and the large areas are very good. Its one of the most detailed and realistic looking map I've seen. And its kinda random how you never know whats going to happen joining big servers with between 20-100 people. Some are armed and hostile and theres lots of vechicles wizzing round,. just shame the zombies are so damn buggy. I guess it would be really good if you had a few friends with Mics and teamed up.
Anyway as for your PC and settings, you can look up games on websites such as 'Can I Run It' and test against your settings. I know in Arma the video settings are very in depth and allow you to turn down individual textures, ground detail, trees, grass, looking draw distance, and many other settings which can increase frame rate or make it go easier on your computer. I guess mainly i would ask what graphics card you have and see if that comes under minimum settings for the game you wish to try. If the game is lagging or sturrering a lot try turning down the video settings, textures ,. Anti -analisaing also uses a lot of power (it blends harsh diagonals and pixels) , i put that on Low on most my games..So i would recomend check out 'can I run it' or a similar website, and tweaking settings down. There is also an Arma II Demo that you could try if you are set on trying it. Edit; here is can i run it: http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri

By the way thanks for joining us Shinigami for Goldeneye Left 4 Dead 2. Me and my friend had already done half the map previously but it turned out Really difficult on Advanced and we ended up giving up after so many attempts. Will play some more soon :D Also how is the Heist 2 beta game? I saw you have it in your collection and thought about that one too, looks alright

Well I tried the demo and it does run on my computer, however it feels slow. Like not laggy or anything like that, but more like there is a late response when I move my mouse, and the other problem is that if I want the game to run extremely smoothly I have to set the whole resolution all the way down to low so it looks really bad, and I mean really bad like everything is fuzzy. I think I may have to improve my graphics card, problem is that I can't afford any right now. Well this officially sucks.

Now I did use the website you mentioned and while it did say that I can not run ARMA II, I also checked and it said that I can't even run TF2 or DotA 2, now that is some bull since I can actually run them at normal and even high resolution.
