I came across this earlier and it got me even more excited about Retribution . As the thread title states, there are spoilers, even in the first paragraph of the article, so tread carefully. The cast interviews are good too.

Yeah, I was thinking that, too.

I have not been able to associate the films with the games, at all.
It's like when I saw Apocalypse, I was thinking of Mad Max, not RE. I was happier that way, too.
However, I don't think I'll be viewing any more of the RE films, but that's because I can't really accept any of them as tied to the game franchise, which I much prefer.
I have noticed that they are quite successful, but the only film I've ever seen that reminded me of RE, existed before the game was introduced and is called Contaminate Man.
Haha, so far that is the only film I associate with RE, because it's almost like the idea for the first game was taken from it.

I don't think it does I'm afraid! I would like to see the chainsaw guy at some point - ideally if they could make RE6 an 18 and show a bit more gore. I would love Alice or Jill to compleatly annihilate him considering what a sod he is to fight in the game.

Yeah, I suppose. Salvador was definitely one of my favorite... and undeniably creepy villains of all time.
