Operation Raccoon City Special kills

Is it just me am i doing something wrong im level 96 and i have never performed a special kill i dont know how to is there some sort of trick for this ? or a stratergy on doing it ?

On Xbox press B when the target stumbles back you press either A or Y and that does a three piece move that severs the medulla oblongata =D
Playstation3 must be Circle then X or Triangle, I think this is your answer..

If you press Y it'll do a move specifically for that character. It will also cause your special ability to go into cooldown.
