I think I'm going to use trial and error. I'm gonna write the same story to myself a thousand times over, I'm gonna tweak characters and story with each re-write. It might take acouple years but when I've nailed it, I'll publish it. Then I'll be bin the same league as my fav author ever. the dude who wrote this novel.

It's Nice That You Want To Write But Don't Set Your Sights Too High Or Too Low. You Don't Want To Get Discouraged And Then Not Finish It. Have Ideas Down The Line But Take It One Chapter At A Time.

Just enjoy it. Keep a pen and paper handy for any ideas that spring up on you (it's usually middle of the night stuff or when you're out and about with no access to a computer). But mostly just have fun - write for yourself and see where it takes you :)

Absolutely. And never truly say that you are finished. A book is never completely finished. There is always something that can be changed, tweaked, or edited. And if an idea stays the same for a year, then two days after you could come up with something brilliant. Keep all options open. Write something, keep at it and it will be awesome! :)

Nah, Don't waste time in penning a novel... you'll only chase your tail and maul over the small things that don't matter.

You should however,

Pen an Epic.
