For those of you who haven't heard: Satoru Iwata, 4th President of Nintendo passed away yesterday.

I didn't really know who he was until recently, but he's been at this for a while. To think that he was behind my favorite Nintendo games makes me really tear up. Great memories were had.

I was out all day and I just heard about this an hour ago. I am very saddened to hear about this and this is a very depressing day for gamers everywhere.

The guy was great and funny, and even if I personally felt he wasn't the CEO that Nintendo needed. He was certainly the man that the gaming industry needed! This is a terribly sad day for the entire industry as a whole!

He will be missed dearly and I will hold a memory of him in my heart.
