A group of friends and I recently started a tabletop RPG campaign set in the world of Resident Evil. For those who may not be familiar, role-playing games are basically narratives in which characters (represented by players) are guided by a Game Master through a story using gameplay mechanics that involve dice rolls to decide the results of their actions. In this case, you can think of it as a long-form RE fan fiction told with a game.
Our story follows a party of original characters that includes Arkia, a young orphan with a mysterious past tied to Umbrella, Chauncey, an RPD detective and former STARS candidate, Emil, a grizzled Army veteran, and Katara, an Umbrella scientist. The campaign begins in September 1998, shortly before the Raccoon City Incident, and will gradually progress through the RE timeline as the narrative goes on.

For those wondering, the system we use is a homebrew based on Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition, which we took many months to design and convert for use in the RE universe.
As of this writing, the first 2 episodes are up on YouTube. New episodes are streamed every other Friday at the link below, and go up on YT the following Mondays.
