I was wondering if a Resident Evil movie reboot will ever be realized. I know that in 2002 when the first movie came out there was also a script by George Romero that was then refused by Capcom. Romero's plot was based on the first Resident Evil but honestly I didn't like it cause of very important changes than the game: he made Barry an African-American, Chris wasn't part of S.T.A.R.S etc.
I've always imagined a movie based on Reisident Evil Rebirth that follows the plot of the game with the only difference that Chris and Jill weren't investigating alone in the mansion but that there were 2 groups of people: Jill, Barry and Wesker made the 1st group and Chris initially alone meets Rebecca, Richard and Kenneth and they stay together making a 2nd group with the difference that Kenneth isn't killed at the beginning of the movie like in the game but has a more relevant part in the story and he is killed later by plant42 like in Romero's script.
Now, I think that in order to make a good movie it's important to have a cast with actors that look like game's characters. There are many fan casts all over the web. I tried to make one too trying to use actors that really look like the game characters, I used many not very famous actors, all infos about all of them can be found on imdb (internet movie database). I made also the cast for RE Revelations and RE 5 as I consider them the sequels of the first Resident Evil because they follow Chris and Jill story until Wesker's death. In particular I also think that a movie based on RE Revelations would be nice because in the plot there are many twists. Here is my cast:
