The horrifying house which haunted our dreams in the 2002 remake of Resident Evil, much like its zombie tenants, appears to have risen from the proverbial grave, thanks in full to the extensive talents of skilled Minecraft mapper, Ben Cobb, or 'MoltenPanther', as he's known online. Lovingly recreated block by block from the Spencer mansion's dreaded front door to the Tyrant-occupied Umbrella facility helipad, Cobb has set out to ensure that his masterpiece encompasses that familiar sense of isolation and macabre that Capcom's survival horror title still invokes to this day.
In a welcome twist from your typical Minecraft custom campaign, Cobb has successfully managed to weave a hearty serving of puzzles and obstacles into the mix, guaranteeing that getting from A to B won't be any easier for you than it was for Chris Redfield and Jill Redfield, all those years ago.
Screenshots, you ask? Well, as it happens, Cobb has even more of the frightful beauties shambling about in one delicious little folder, hungry for your attention.
If you're ready to dive straight into the meat of this tasty treat, [strike]you can go ahead and download the custom map through us by hitting the 'Download' link[/strike], or via the official Minecraft forum right now. Cobb encourages that you attempt to tackle this one with a buddy tagging along, likely because two heads are better than one when it comes to taking on the legions of undead in Minecraft's twisted variation of Resident Evil. Good luck.
