i just bought this movie today and wqatched the trailer
is the movie worth to watch.....

as i watched 6the trailer i think it is.....

For me the first two were way better. But since you have already bought this one it would be a waste not to watch it.

I'm one of the very few people who enjoy these movies, I usually just look at the movie series as a fanfic or complete spinoff, has zombie killing and that sort of b movie action vibe which I love. IMO though it's a fun movie to watch, especially with someone else. Got it on blu-ray and some of the scenes really do look gorgeous, especially a specific scene with a cloud of fire above Alice. Don't expect Resident Evil the game when watching it, you'll enjoy it alot more.

The movies themselves are ..enjoyable.. just like Transformers is enjoyable, The main problem(s) (for me, i dont want to speak for everyone else) are the story, character development, connection to the game series, direction, and just the overall poor judgement in creation.

And to have the title "Resident Evil" in the name, you cant help but expect the same feel as the original series, I've said this alot but Resident Evil is about Survival Horror not "How many zombies can i decapitate while i jump off my motercycle and do a backflip while reloading?" They are missing the balance between the two and heavily favoring the Cool factor rather than the surviving.

Basically just missing the point in simple terms. Thats my beef i have with the films. I could just forget the game series existed but i dont want to be complacent with bad representation.

Just watch it =) Even if most of the people don't like most of the RE movies, you should watch it =) I didn't watch this one by myself, but like sadistic_greyfox said, you should not bring the feeling at the game serie with you when you're going to watch it. I guess that's why most of the people don't like it, because of the reasons Capcomplicated said already =)

Yeah Cap I understand, the couple other RE folks I talk to say that if they changed the name they might not even be so critical about it, just that it's whoring the name of a game they love .

exactly but they are definitely not the worst movies i've ever seen its just some fans have high expectations. When it says Krispy Kreme on the box you know what your getting. Lol excuse my lame metaphor but you get the idea.

Haha, I understand, they probably just use the names for sales anyways, named anything else and t might not have the same name recognition, leading to less folks watching. Still though I do like 3 and 1, 2 is something I find kinda hard to watch.
