So, let's just skip to the problem; i have some matching problems with merc. and merc. reunion. like yesterday evening, there where lots of open games, but when i select one, i have to wait a few minutes, and then i get to hear that 'the game session has been cancelled'. if this happens one time, its not a big problem, but yesterday i just couldnt find a damn game that wasnt 'cancelled'. i also saw some usernames listed two times, both games cancelled.

Is this something with my internet connection, or is Merc. just dying? Anyone, please help me!

BTW, was playing on the xbox 360

i had the same problem before ...what is funny xD i play on ps3 and it would not let me to join or invite friends or whatnot there was NO SINGLE game i could join

next day everything was ok again oO

so dunno ...maybe its just a thing with re and the servers?!

I am going to make a good quess that it would have to be your internet, due to that if you have sh***y connection to the internet then you will have problems trying to join games. But if it is a real sh*t storm connection then you are rarely going to play an online game.

No portion of RE5 will ever die. The only thing you might see less of is Lost in Nightmares and Desperate Escape open games. However, your problem could be due to three things... One, (and the most likely one) your internet connection might be weak to the point that it's hard to connect to anyone outside of your area. And I don't mean just your country. It could be anyone outside of your city limits. Now, two, everyone you are trying to join has such a bad connection that it leaves ghost matches. Ghost matches are matches opened by a person with a sh*tty internet connection and they lag out of the character screen and it still keeps the match running due to the server not realizing that they lagged out. Or three, there was something wrong with the servers that time you were playing... Which I kind of doubt due to matches appearing on the boards.
