There are an awful lot of goodies scattered throughout the Las Plagas-infested territories residing under Saddler's control. Finding them all won't be easy, but our handy-dandy item glossary should at least point you in the right direction where rare and valuable treasures are concerned. If you feel we've somehow neglected to cover one or two items, do feel free to fire off a quick email in our direction.

Amber Ring



Description: "An old ring. I can almost feel the history behind this jewelry. I just hope that there's some value to it."
Location: Balancing on a wooden beam, just in front of the waterfall's cave entrance in Chapter 2-1.
Value: 10,000 PTAS.

Antique Pipe



Description: "There's a detailed engraving on this pipe. Let's hope it's worth something."
Location: Situated in a bird's nest, sitting atop a tree branch, in the marshes area of Chapter 1-3.
Value: 10,000 PTAS.

Beerstein



Description: "The markings on the side of the stone indicate that it was once set in something."
Location: Located in the blocked-off area of the two-storey barn in Chapter 1-1. In order to reach it, you'll need to climb to the second floor of the barn and drop down into a small crevice in order to reach the room which contains it.
Value: 3,000 PTAS; 20,000 PTAS when combined with the Green Catseye, Red Catseye, and Yellow Catseye.

Black Bass



Description: "Restores health partially."
Location: Found in various ponds and streams throughout the game; three of which being: the sewers in Chapter 1-3, the Del Lago Lake, and...
Value: 750 PTAS.

Black Bass (L)



Description: "Restores health completely."
Location: Found in various ponds and streams throughout the game; three of which being: the sewers in Chapter 1-3, the Del Lago Lake, and...
Value: 2,300 PTAS.

Blue Eye



Description: "The markings on the side of the stone indicate that it was once set in something."
Location: Rarely dropped by Novistadors; one can be found by shooting the giant hive on the ceiling just after Ashley is kidnapped by a Novistador and Leon is ambushed in Chapter 4-1.
Value: 1,500 PTAS; substantially more when combined with the Butterfly Lamp.

Blue Moonstone



Description: "A blue stone with a crescent engraving."
Location: Created after combining both the left and right half together.
Value: Cannot be sold.

Blue Stone of Treason



Description: "The markings on the side of the stone indicate that it was once set in something."
Location: After defeating the U-3 monster and trudging on a short distance, you'll have made your way into a relatively well-guarded Ganado outpost. Clear the area, use the ladder in the tent to reach a secret underground passage, push forwards somewhat, take a right turn when ones becomes available, and you'll find the Blue Stone of Treason sitting on some boxes at the end of the tunnel.
Value: 3,500 PTAS; 32,000 PTAS when combined with the Red Stone of Faith, Green Stone of Judgement, and the Golden Lynx.

Brass Pocket Watch



Description: "There are signs of use, but this brass watch may still be worth something."
Location: The first can be found after climbing out of the week in Chapter 1-2, on the way to Chief Mendez's house. The second can be found shortly before your first encounter with a Regenerator, in a save room that leads off the leaky hallway of Chapter 5-1.
Value: 10,000 PTAS.

Broken Butterfly



Description: "The markings on the side of the stone indicate that it was once set in something."
Location: Can be purchased from the Merchant after reaching Chapter 3-1, or can be picked up for free in the locked room of Chapter 4-1 after re-rescuing Ashley. [pic] [pic]
Value: 38,000 PTAS when bought; 19,000 PTAS when sold (non-upgraded).

Brown Chicken Egg



Description: "Restores partial health."
Location: Sometimes laid by chickens; rarely dropped by snakes.
Value: 600 PTAS.

Butterfly Lamp



Description: "An exquisite lamp designed with butterfly motifs. There are 3 indentations like something might fit inside."
Location: One can be found in Chapter 3-2 inside of a treasure chest located in the same room as the sewer drainage valve in the prison-like area. A second one can be found at the end of the secret walkway in the same area as the hallway that you enter after using the King's Grail and Queen's Grail. [pic] [pic]
Value: 4,500 PTAS; up to 32,000 PTAS when combined with the Blue Eye, Green Eye, and Red Eye jewels.

Camp Key



Description: "It opens the door at the center of the camp."
Location: Found in Chapter 2-3, after killing the Bella Sisters.
Value: Cannot be sold.

Castle Gate Key



Description: "A key designed with a goat motif. This key opens the main gate into the gate."
Location: Found in the outbuilding located in the area just outside of Salazar's Castle's grand hall.
Value: Cannot be sold.

Chicken Egg



Description: "Restores health by a small degree."
Location: Occasionally laid by chickens; rarely dropped by snakes.
Value: 300 PTAS.

Crown



Description: "A crown with two divots like something might fit inside."
Location: Found resting on a deceased man's lap in the pit area after Salazar drops Leon down a shaft with spikes at the bottom. [pic]
Value: 9,000 PTAS; 48,000 PTAS when combined with the Royal Insignia and Crown Jewel to make the Salazar Family Crown.

Crown Jewel



Description: "The markings on the backside of this piece indicate that it was once set in something."
Location: Available for collection after defeating Salazar's "Right Hand" Verdugo creature at the very end of Chapter 4-1.
Value: 11,000 PTAS; 48,000 PTAS when combined with the Crown and Royal Insignia to make the Salazar Family Crown.

Dirty Pearl Pendant



Description: "A very dirty accessory. It doesn't seem to have much value."
Location: Found in Chapter 1-1. Failing to close the lid of the dirty water-filled well before shooting down the Pearl Pendant will result in the item falling into the filthy well and lessening its value, effectively turning it into the "Dirty Pearl Pendant".
Value: 1,000 PTAS.

Dirty Brass Pocket Watch



Description: "There are signs of use, but this brass watch may still be worth something."
Location: Acquired on the way to Chief Mendez's house in Chapter 1-2, but only if the player allows the regular Brass Pocket Watch to fall into
Value: 1,000 PTAS.

Dynamite



Description: "A very destructive explosive used in mining."
Location: Acquired in the mines of Chapter 4-2 after first lowering the only active minecart in the area down from the tracks.
Value: Cannot be sold.

Elegant Chessboard



Description: "A finely crafted chessboard with a rare design."
Location: Found inside an antique cabinet in the storage room of Chapter 4-1, after escaping Salazar's "descending spike" trap and rescuing Ashley from the mobile drilling machine. For extra clarification: it's in the same room as the Queen's Grail item.
Value: 13,000 PTAS.

Elegant Headdress



Description: "The rare stone set in this headdress has made it one of a kind."
Location: The first can be found on the roof of the underground cave in Chapter 1-3, shortly after using the Insignia Key. The second can be picked up whilst inside Saddler's throne room in Chapter 5-3, suspended from a metal beam stretching across the entrance doorway.
Value: 10,000 PTAS.

Elegant Mask



Description: "A mask with 3 divots like something might fit inside."
Location: Hidden inside a side room of the warehouse section of Chapter 1-2. To gain entry to the room, after exiting the room with the bear traps and furnaces, pull a hard left and smash down the boards that are blocking access to it. Jump inside and the Elegant Mask will be obtainable for collection from the left wall.
Value: 3,000 PTAS; 20,000 PTAS when combined with the Green Gem, Purple Gem, and Red Gem.

Elegant Perfume Bottle



Description: "A luxurious looking perfect bottle with an intricate decoration."
Location: Found in the locked room of Chapter 4-1 after re-rescuing Ashley. [pic] [pic]
Value: 10,000 PTAS.

Emblem (left half)



Description: "The left half of an emblem with an engraving."
Location: Found at the very top of the right-side path of the gorge settlement in Chapter 1-2, inside a chest.
Value: Cannot be sold.

Emblem (right half)



Description: "The right half of an emblem with an engraving."
Location: Found inside of a chest on the roof of the large shack in the gorge settlement area in Chapter 1-2.
Value: Cannot be sold.

Emerald



Description: "Although small in size, a precious gem."
Location: One can be found inside a crate near the start of Chapter 5-1, after taking the left path — as opposed to the right one which leads to the Ganado military camp — and climbing up the ledge of the cliff at the end of the passage. [pic] The second is available for collection at the very start of the cliff-top area, sitting on a crate on the right, shortly after avoiding the "boulder drop" QTE and climbing the ladder in the cave.
Value: 3,000 PTAS.

Emergency Lock Card Key



Description: "A card key with an orange logo of the Los Illuminados. Use it to open the door where Ashley is trapped."
Location: Dropped by the very first "Iron Maiden" monster that you encounter, inside a laboratory.
Value: Cannot be sold.

False Eye



Description: "There is a code-like pattern etched inside the iris. It opens the gate to get out of the village."
Location: Dropped by Chief Mendez after his defeat in the barn.
Value: Cannot be sold.

Freezer Card Key



Description: "A card key with a white logo of the Los Illuminados. Insert it into the card reader of the emergency locking device."
Location: Dropped by a Ganado during the ambush in the prison courtyard of Chapter 5-4/
Value: Cannot be sold.

Gallery Key



Description: "A key with an insignia of the Salazar family. This key opens the door to the gallery room."
Location: Dropped by the fleeing, red-robed Ganado with the ram mask, in the gallery lobby during Chapter 3-2.
Value: Cannot be sold.

Goat Ornament



Description: "An ornament piece for the wall relief in the grand hall."
Location: Found in the treasure chest which sits atop the podium in the center of the gallery. To raise the podium from the secret compartment in the floor, however, you'll first need to deactivate the alarm.
Value: Cannot be sold.

Gold Bangle



Description: "A handcrafted gold bangle with a beautiful decoration carved around it."
Location: The first can be found by making your way around to the rear of the dilapidated building in Chapter 3-1, after investigating the treasure chest. The second is available for collection in the exact room as the Salazar Family Insignia which is unlocked after completing the sliding emblem puzzle of Chapter 3-4, whilst playing as Ashley. The third is dropped after killing the rocket launcher-wielding Ganado with the ram mask in Chapter 4-1. The fourth one is located at the very top of Salazar's Tower, just before the Ramon Salazar boss fight in Chapter 4-4.
Value: 8,500 PTAS.

Gold Bangle w/ Pearls



Description: "The fantastic workmanship of this accessory makes this a valuable item."
Location: Found whilst trekking through the narrow pathway that leads towards the Del Lago boss fight at the end of Chapter 1-3. It'll be hiding in a bird's nest, atop a tree, and will require shooting down.
Value: 10,000 PTAS.

Gold Chicken Egg


Description: "Completely restores health."
Location: Rarely laid by chickens; very rarely dropped by snakes.
Value: 1,000 PTAS.

Golden Lynx



Description: "A golden statue with three holes."
Location: Upon reaching the cliff-top area during Chapter 5-1, you'll eventually reach a series of cave tunnels. One tunnel will lead you to a path blocked with boulders and an explosive barrel. Shoot the barrel to cause an explosion, bringing down the boulders and clearing a passage to the room with the Golden Lynx statue in it.
Value: 15,000 PTAS; 32,000 PTAS when combined with the Blue Stone of Treason, Green Stone of Judgement, and the Red Stone of Faith.

Golden Sword



Description: "A decorative sword made from gold."
Location: Found in Chapter 3-1, in the very first room of Salazar's Castle, on the second floor.
Value: Cannot be sold.

Green Eye



Description: "The markings on the side of the stone indicate that it was once set in something."
Location: Frequently dropped by Novistadors.
Value: 1,000 PTAS; substantially more when combined with the Butterfly Lamp.

Green Gem



Description: "The markings on the side of the stone indicate that it was once set in something."
Location: Frequently dropped by Novistadors. There's also one available for collection in the hidden Merchant cave at the start of Chapter 1-3; use the boat to reach it.
Value: 3,000 PTAS; substantially more when combined with the Elegant Mask.

Green Stone of Judgement



Description: "The markings on the side of the stone indicate that it was once set in something."
Location: Almost immediately after completing the bulldozer sequence in chapter 5-2. Look inside of a metal case which is inside the same room as the typewriter and Merchant.
Value: 3,500 PTAS; 32,000 PTAS when combined with the Blue Stone of Treason, Red Stone of Faith, and the Golden Lynx.

Handgun



Description: "A standard 9mm handgun."
Location: You begin the game with it.
Value: 4,000 PTAS.
Cost to buy: 8,000 PTAS.

Hexagonal Emblem



Description: "A hexagonal object with a unique insignia engraved in it. It opens the gate in the valley."
Location: Acquired after combining the Emblem (left half) and Emblem (right half).
Value: Cannot be sold.

Hourglass w/ Gold Decor



Description: "A marvellously crafted hourglass."
Location: Found during Chapter 3-3, inside the treasure chest situated inside the cage-trap room next to the dining room. The part where you're locked up with a Garrador.
Value: 12,000 PTAS.

Illuminados Pendant



Description: "A pendant designed with the Los Illuminados motif."
Location: Worn by a red-robed Ganado in the main hall during of Chapter 3-2; kill him before you are spotted or he will flee. Another Illuminados Pendant can be found later inside a treasure chest in the furnace-like room of Chapter 4-1 after sniping the second, giant flamethrower-operating Ganado.
Value: 12,000 PTAS.

Infrared Scope



Description: "Mounts on any .223 caliber rifle. Enables you to see the hidden parasites in the enemy's body."
Location: Found in the cryogenic freezing room inside of a sealed cabinet. It can be acquired after returning the ambient temperature of the room to normal.
Value: 10,000 PTAS.

Insignia Key



Description: "A key with a unique symbol on the end. It opens the door of the house in the village."
Location: Found in a chest, in the bedroom of what is believed to be Chief Mendez's house, during Chapter 1-2.
Value: Cannot be sold.

Jet-ski Key



Description: "A jet-ski key. I guess you could call it a "present" from Ada. Well, sorta..."
Location: Given to you by Ada Wong after defeating Lord Saddler.
Value: Cannot be sold.

Key to the Mine



Description: "A key that opens the locked door in the underground ruins."
Location: Found in the underground ruins of Chapter 4-3, in the upstairs dwelling area with a Dr. Salvador guarding it.
Value: Cannot be sold.

King's Grail



Description: "A grail with a decoration of a king."
Location: Found in the chamber where you are ambushed by two waves of "Armadura" knights in Chapter 4-1.
Value: Cannot be sold.

Lion Ornament



Description: "An ornament piece for the wall relief in the grand hall."
Location: Accessible at the very end of the furnace-like room after killing the third and final, giant flamethrower-operating Ganado in Chapter 4-1.
Value: Cannot be sold.

Mirror w/ Pearls & Rubies



Description: "A gorgeous mirror lined with many pears and rubies."
Location: Found in a wardrobe next to the Merchant at the start of Chapter 3-3.
Value: 12,000 PTAS.

Moonstone (left half)



Description: "Only the left half of a stone object."
Location: Found resting on the fountain in the centre of the garden maze.
Value: Cannot be sold.

Moonstone (right half)



Description: "Only the right half of a stone object."
Location: Found resting on the fountain in the centre of the garden maze.
Value: Cannot be sold.

Old Key



Description: "It opens the gate at the end of the back route from the cabin."
Location: Acquired in the narrow valley during your second confrontation with an El Gigante. To locate it, search inside the second shack that you come across.
Value: Cannot be sold.

Pearl Pendant



Description: "It's in pretty good condition. Looks valuable."
Location: The first or two Pearl Pendants can be found in Chapter 1-1, dangling from the underside of the well's roof that's situated near a typewriter in the farm area. The second can be found sitting atop a tomb in the crypt area in Chapter 5-4, shortly after Mike's helicopter crashes during a cutscene.
Value: 10,000 PTAS.

Piece of the Holy Beast, Eagle



Description: "A piece of the object to be used at the wall relief."
Location: Found during the battle with Jack Krauser in Chapter 5-3.
Value: Cannot be sold.

Piece of the Holy Beast, Panther



Description: "A piece of the object to be used at the wall relief."
Location: Found during the battle with Jack Krauser in Chapter 5-3.
Value: Cannot be sold.

Piece of the Holy Beast, Serpent



Description: "A piece of the object to be used at the wall relief."
Location: Found during the battle with Jack Krauser in Chapter 5-3.
Value: Cannot be sold.

Platinum Sword



Description: "A decorative sword made from platinum."
Location: Found in Chapter 3-1, in the very first room of Salazar's Castle.
Value: Cannot be sold.

Prison Key



Description: "A key that opens the door to the underground prison."
Location: Found in Chapter 3-1, shortly after first meeting Salazar. The key can be collected after passing by the prison area and detaching it from a hanging picture in the same room as the flames.
Value: Cannot be sold.

Purple Gem



Description: "The markings on the side of the stone indicate that it was once set in something."
Location: One can be found inside a swinging bucket that is suspended high in the air during the escape/battle sequence with El Gigante in Chapter 2-3. Another can be found during Chapter 3-1, hanging from the wall above the archway in Salazar's Grand Hall. The third and final Purple Gem can be found in the same room as where you place the King's Grail and Queens's Grail in Chapter 4-1.
Value: 3,000 PTAS; substantially more when combined with the Elegant Mask.

Queen's Grail



Description: "A grail with a decoration of a queen."
Location: Found during Chapter 4-1, in a room that you become trapped in after killing the two Ganados driving the huge drilling vehicle. Shortly after the puzzle involving the knight statues and pressure pads.
Value: Cannot be sold.

Red Catseye



Description: "The marking on the stone indicates that it was once set in something, but what? Nevertheless, a rare gem."
Location: Shoot down the bird's nest that rests atop a branch of the tree just in front of the spooky house in Chapter 1-1. You'll know when you're approaching the right house because it'll be located on the other end of the tunnel, after the boulder chase sequence.
Value: 3,000 PTAS; 20,000 PTAS when combined with the Beerstein, Green Catseye, and Yellow Catseye.

Red Eye



Description: "The markings on the side of the stone indicate that it was once set in something."
Location: Infrequently dropped by Novistadors.
Value: 1,500 PTAS; substantially more when combined with the Butterfly Lamp.

Red Gem



Description: "The markings on the side of the stone indicate that it was once set in something."
Location: One can be found during Chapter 2-3, not far after the battle with the Bella Sisters; another one can be found inside a treasure chest in the garden maze of Chapter 3-2.
Value: 3,000 PTAS; substantially more when combined with the Elegant Mask.

Red Stone of Faith



Description: "The markings on the side of the stone indicate that it was once set in something."
Location: Found in the grimy downstairs dining room of 5-1, shortly before reuniting with Ashley once again.
Value: 3,500 PTAS; 32,000 PTAS when combined with the Blue Stone of Treason, Green Stone of Judgement, and the Golden Lynx.

Rocket Launcher (Special)



Description: "A rocket launcher that fires a special rocket. A perfect weapon to exterminate the boss."
Location: Provided to you by Ada Wong during the final boss fight.
Value: 30,000 PTAS.

Round Insignia



Description: "A round object with a strange symbol. It fits inside the door of the church."
Location: Discovered on a pedestal, inside the secret mountain cave that is hidden behind the a raging waterfall.
Value: Cannot be sold.

Royal Insignia



Description: "The markings on the backside of this piece indicate that it was once set in something."
Location: Found right at the end of the Novistador cavern, sitting on an altar. Collection is mandatory in orderto continue with the story.
Value: 11,000 PTAS; 48,000 PTAS when combined with the Crown and Crown Jewel to make the Salazar Family Crown.

Ruby



Description: "A large precious stone."
Location: Acquired in a number of places, but usually always dropped by chainsaw-wielding Ganados. During Chapter 1-1, after entering the hamlet, run straight past all of the Ganados near the big sacrificial fire, head to the left of the bell tower and follow the road upwards. You'll soon come across a chainsaw Ganado standing in front of a gate; killing him before the bell tolls and before entering the house where the shotgun is located will net you a shiny red ruby. Another ruby is available for collection after killing the chainsaw Ganado that will ambush you after exiting Bitores Mendez's house in Chapter 1-3. And the final ruby is received after killing one of the "Bella Sisters" in Chapter 2-3; the Bella Sisters are female Ganados that wield red chainsaws.
Value: 10,000 PTAS.

Salazar Family Insignia



Description: "A family heirloom that has been passed down for generations in the Salazar family."
Location: Found in Chapter 4-2 towards the end of the section in the mine.
Value: Cannot be sold.

Serpent Ornament



Description: "An ornament piece for the wall relief in the grand hall."
Location: Found whilst playing as Ashley in Chapter 3-4.
Value: Cannot be sold.

Shotgun



Description: "A 12-gauge pump-action shotgun. Don't leave home without it."
Location: A short way into the first chapter you will run into a hamlet area with a group of Ganados working around a sacrificial bonfire. Clear the area and make your way up to the second floor of the house to the left of the bonfire, and you will find the shotgun mounted on a wall at the very top of the stairs.
Value: 10,000 PTAS.
Cost to buy: 14,000 PTAS.

Spinel



Description: "Although small in size, it appears to have some value."
Location: Too common to list all locations.
Value: 2,000 PTAS.

Staff of Royalty



Description: "A staff with a beautiful decoration. It seems to have substantial value."
Location: Inside Salazar's ancestor's tomb located a short while into the underground lair of Chapter 4-3, whilst searching for the "sacrifice to the lion". [image]
Value: 20,000 PTAS.

Stone of Sacrifice



Description: "A stone object with an engraving of an animal for sacrifice."
Location: Found sitting on a pedestal very soon after completing the minecart ride sequence in Chapter 4-3.
Value: Cannot be sold.

Stone Tablet


Description: "A tablet with part of a picture etched upon its surface."
Location: Embedded in the dilapidated fireplace which is situated in the same room as Ashley's "sliding gate" puzzle of Chapter 3-4.
Value: Cannot be sold.

Storage Room Card Key



Description: "A card key with an orange logo of the Los Illuminados. Use it to open the door where Ashley is trapped."
Location: Dropped by the very first 'Iron Maiden' monster that you encounter, inside a laboratory.
Value: Cannot be sold.

Waste Disposal Card Key



Description: "A card key with a yellow logo of the Los Illuminados. Use it to open the door to the Waste Disposal Area."
Location: Acquired in the cryogenic freezer room after "rewriting" the data stored on the Freezer Card Key.
Value: Cannot be sold.

Velvet Blue



Description: "Although small in size, it appears to have some value."
Location: Too common to list all locations.
Value: 2,500 PTAS.

Yellow Catseye



Description: "The marking on the stone indicates that it was once set in something, but what? Nevertheless, a rare gem."
Location: Found at the end of a cave during Chapter 2-3, shortly after riding a lift to the opposite side of a canyon and just before the boss fight with Chief Mendez.
Value: 3,000 PTAS; 20,000 PTAS when combined with the Beerstein, Green Catseye, and Yellow Catseye.
