RE9’s DLC

The insider Dusk Golem has mentioned that he believes Ada Kennedy (or sorry Wong) is in the RE9 story expansion DLC.

In what kind of role? I can’t help but imagine she being in the background combing over the previous areas Leon had been fighting in.

No mention of what she wil be doing but I always go back to that short video released before RE9. It's below. At the end of the video, that sure does sound like Adas voice.....

 
There have been mentions that both Ada and Chris will be in the DLCs and that there will be multiple story-driven DLCs
 
I really like the idea of having Chris and Ada working together. Requiem seems to have established Chris as a shadowy figure who knows more than even Leon is privy to, which puts him on par with Ada. But it also seems like maybe Chris has been learning from his former captain and employing his usual tactics for the greater good this time. They definitely seem to be putting that image across with him wearing all black, working with Blue Umbrella, and now having his own squad. Having a secret agent like Ada on his team would complete his full on ascension into being the anti-Wesker. I just don't know how I feel about this being the direction for a DLC unless like the video above suggests, it could be a prequel story to Requiem exploring what the BSAA were doing in Raccoon City before Leon.

It's a really interesting dynamic, especially with the events of RE6 where Chris was literally chasing Ada (Carla) around. The end of RE8 sees Chris discover how shady the North American branch of the BSAA really is. My best bet is that Ada already knows this. She can provide intel to Chris and his squad and be an asset in his struggle to uncover the truth.
 
I haven’t played the new dlc yet (I’ve been busy on Crimson Desert lol) but I’m disappointed it’s not a story driven DLC. I know one is coming but I’m more excited for that, not so much this.
 
I was thinking that maybe they couldn't bother with properly balancing a mercenaries mode around all of the enemies Leon and Grace encounter. So we just got whatever this is.

Leon’s abilities are good in Requiem, but he’d really be pushed to his limits if had to fight BSAA zombies and the ones that survived the missile strike, alongside mercenaries, lickers and a tyrant all in one go.
 
I love the idea of Chris and Ada having a story but I would prefer a full game not a DLC. The story is intriguing though because she wouldn’t be able to manipulate Chris easily like she does Leon.
