Resident Evil 6 RE6 campaign question -

I am currently involved in Chris' campaign, split screen, with a friend. is it possible for me to start a new campaign (Jake), on my own, without losing what progress my buddy and I have achieved in Chris' campaign?

can you have more than one campaign going at one time? i am looking at the menu and it says that "all data for the chapter in-progress campaign will be lost" any help will be appreciated. thanks.

I know you can do chapter selection from any campaign, so you might lose your checkpoint if you're halfway through a chapter, but you should be able to load up the chapter you were on with Chris from the menu and continue then.

You only lose chapter progress, so simply finish a chapter after that u r safe to switch to another campaign

First person I have seen besides me that really likes this game and doesn't think it's total ****.
I don't understand the bad reviews at all.
