Resident Evil 6 RE 6 Professional Difficulty Issue

My friend and I are trying to play through the story together on professional but im the only one its recording it for . Under his records he is completing the game on normal. Does anyone know how to fix this so we both get credit on professional ?

He has to host the game.

so theres no way for both of us to get it at the same time?

I'm not certain, but that's how it was in RE5. Whoever host gets it recorded. Have him try hosting and see if it works then.

i did but i was on a different difficulty . There most be a way for both of us to play on the same difficulty and get credit for it.

Are you sure he unlocked Professional mode? If he joined your game on professional without unlocking it first it won't work.

we started the game together on professional it was unlocked at the start.

Did he join you from the menu where it says (waiting for partner)
If he joins when your infant waiting, even if just or a second it won't count his progress from te start.
Other than that I don't know why

I sent him the invite When it prompts me to before you start the chapter once he joins the game starts.

I'm only on chapter 2 on normal ATM so I havnt seen this problem
