well im in a discussion with a friend, he says that in shooter games like cod and such, score is the only thing that matters, but i think kill/death rate is the important cuz is what shows your real skill
what do you think? score is the important thing or k/d ratio?

Neither but if you're gonna go for the best things around it must be Wins

I was also having a discussion with my cousin a week ago about something similar. He is a ModernWarfare/BlackOps fan and he was saying how much I like game campaigns (ie uncharted, arkham, RE) and that the cool thing is multiplayer, campaigns suck. And that i was alwaystrying to get trophies, completing campaigns in easy, normal and hard and I started telling him that all he cared about was rankings and prestiges (btw he's 13 and thats the worst gaming generation about angry kids screaming in team death matches and only playing online war games)

So really, in general Campaigns are much better than Multiplayer Matches.

Well lone wolfs are going to say its k/d. Team players r goin going to say its the score. Then again in most cases if u have a high k/d theres no way u arent getting a high score as well. High k/d, player score, team score and wins usually go hand in hand.

It irritates me when people do that. Every single H and F'in single time I buy a first person shooter (Such as Halo, Call of Duty, etc., etc.), somebody just has to go "Why do you keep playing the campaign? Multiplayer is more fun. You suck at the multiplayer because you never play it. You always play with bots so you suck. You always play the co-op and never the competitive, so you suck at it. You barely buy any games with competitive multiplayer in it, so you suck at the competitive multiplayer." They never seem to get the idea that I don't care for competitive multiplayer in shooters, with one exception (Team Fortress 2), nor do I care about their insults. I don't play it because I suck at it, I don't play it because it doesn't interest me. It never had and never will, except Team Fortress 2.

I would say TIME..I used to play the ass off the Hitman games, and i aimed to kill only the target..which in turn would give me the highest rank, but my personal aim was to get it done in the quickest time possible. Games like Cod bore me so i can't really comment on it too much... but i prefer games that require more than running around and mashing buttons.

I don't think either are very important...And ONE can't be more important than another because it's all about personal preference...If you think K/D rate is more important...Than it is...to YOU...And for him, if Score is more important than it is...To HIM...That's ok...No one is wrong...
