i been rinsing the internet for any news or info on a new download? i believe there will be as they left desperate escape ending open.. i been trophy whoring lately want more and got well into resident evil series.. hence joining this site

The ending of Desperate Escape wasn't left open. Desperate Escape took place before the end of RE5 when Chris and Sheva fought Wesker. It was made to explain what happened to Jill after they removed the device from her chest and before she showed up in a helicopter at the very end of the game. What you see at the end of the game is what happened after Desperate Escape. As for what happened to Chris and Sheva, you'll probably have to wait til at least the next game to find out definitively what happened to them.
Personally I'd rather see a different story if they make another mini game type thing. I liked Lost in Nightmares a lot more than Desperate Escape and I think it has a much higher replay value, especially since the game changes slightly for each difficulty (when you have to unlock the gate that exposes the ladder that ultimately leads to Wesker). I can't say that I would necessarily want to see the same characters again though; I would like a game in which I could play as Rebecca or maybe even as Wesker, outside of Mercenaries.
I'm not sure of the release date :x. But ORC is another reason I don't think they would make a mini game. They've been working on ORC and RE6, and let's face it- I think fans are looking forward to either or both of those than more RE5 DLC.

yeah i like the dlc pro was immense but i had the chore of playing with ai in pro cos the people i was playing with were worse beleive it or not lol. playing as wesker would be sweet

But Capcom is helping, they just aren't the MAIN develpers...they've overseeing it...
