As some may know i love history, not the stats and figures type history, but the good stuff, you know, vlad teh impaler, the worlds tallest man and what inspired man to walk the moon etc.
So i was wondering if any of you can give me a pointer on natives, from America or Canada?
I know they were treated very badly and many still are, whilst living in poverty, but i wanted to know if any of you have a really good book or documentary you could point me to. I don't want to use google or anything like that, i'd much prefer someones input on this rather than a search engine..
The natives are a group of people i've always wanted to spend time studying, but i've never gotten round to it, as i haven't had the time to do them justice...
so if you can help it would be deeply appreciated, i think it's time i sunk my teeth into this one .
I dont mind the whole cowboy / indian thing, but am looking for a no nonsense biography of the situation from then to now, if that makes sense.
