My name is Brandon Parks. I am a legally blind comic illustrator and gamer. I am not sure how to go about doing this- aside from facebook- but I am trying to raise money for a pair of electronic glasses to help me in everyday life. I was told I should start streaming.
I mainly stream RESIDENT EVIL and METAL GEAR games. (Many people ask how I game while being legally blind and I really only have a camera set up so people can see how close I sit to the screen.) I have retinopathy of prematurity since birth. I am not completely blind -thankfully- but to use gamimg as an example....think of me as a genome soldier from METAL GEAR (haha.) 4ft of vision and basically no peripheral.
Anyway I hope this doesn't break any forum rules. (If it does Moderators, please feel free to edit or change anything as you see fit.) I have really just been sharing on Facebook with family and friends- which isn't gaining too much attention- so I was told to try streaming on Twitch for donations and a wider audience.
