Is there any chance that you can beat Mr.X on his final form or Tyrant in the first game without the rocket launcher?

do you know what its never came to me to actually try this. it probably does work but just takes alot longer and of course the more you anger the tyrant the quicker he'll kill you or your surviving characters
i'm sure you can. it's possible to kill tyrant in re1 without the rocket launcher. both bosses can also dodge the rockets, so i assume the rocket launcher is just a quick way to end it.
