Resident Evil 5 Is it just me or..

In RE5 There are a few parts in the game that require you to tap a button rapidily...

I dont know about you lot but... On the last level when Shevas hanging off the edge by the lava I cannot press the button fast enough to make her climb up.. I can Smash the boulder with Chris... but I cant do Sheva's thing
When I was playing the last level on co-op, for the first time with my mate, we actaully had to swap controllers because everytime I tryed I kept dying.. he did it first time!

Ive tryed it about 5 times altogeather so I aint had much practise haha but on normle mode.. I can never seem to do it. Do you just have to push it as fast as you can or do you actaully have to smash the button in as hard as you can as many times as possible?

It makes me so mad that I cant do it... If I cant do it on normle how can I even begin to think how Im gonna get through Vet mode.. or Pro haha I doubt ill even bother with Pro mode..

What are your views? because serioulsy haha everytime I see her drop into that lava pit I feel like stamping on my pad AHAHA
 
Ive done the level on Vet mode anyway haha with the RPG you dont even have to do that sillyness.. you can just shoot wesker in the back after he jumps over the ledge when hes after chris.. But thats with Inf ammo so It aint really doin it properly Lol... plus if it wasnt inf ammo I dont think Id be able to hit him in the back in just one shot... not from the distance I was at haha.. so who knows, just my way of telling the game to go f-ck its self haha but yeah It does go on for ages...
 
If I remember correct the same thing applies on Resident Evil 4 too at times. So far the hardest one I have experienced is when you are in the old village underground and you get attacked by the massive giant bat.

I ran up the stairs and then I have to hammer a button to get away from it. It took me a few times but I have done it, I hope there aren't any harder ones on the game.
 
Oh yeah they had a few things on Resi4 that made you tap buttons as well, I could do all that stuff even on Pro mode it wasnt easy though haha, But serioulsy RE5.. I think it's harder with the button tappin... I dunno what it is about the settings on that game... I just die everytime I try it on the last level lool so anoyying . . . . .

= \ Thats the one thing I do hate about the game O: Which is sad coz the game is awesome. but it's nothing the RPG cant sort out LOL haha man this games logic is awesome..

Haha, I can easily do it. What finger are you faster with clicking? Like when you do how many mouse clicks you can get in a minute... I'm the mos quickest with my middle finger so I postion the controller to my statisfaction and then I spam the button until my finger dies dead, then I swap fingers very quick.

Normally this works, but this is how I do.
 
I either use my index finger, or my thumb haha not sure whats more effective... I wish there was a program that shows you how fast you can push the buttons, lol then Id know what Ive got a better chance with. =P

But yeah Ive got a low enthusiasum for that sorta thing I dont enjoy pushing buttons rapidly haha makes me angry for some reason Ever since that stupid track an feild game for game boy...I cant even remmember what it was called now but it was anoyying as f-ck =P
 
the only time Ive ever had trouble doing the button stuff was one time where I kept hitting circle instead of square accidentally, other than that I always get the combos. Maybe it is just the 360 version.
 
when me and my brother were playing he was stuck as sheva and i was Chris but he couldn't do it ether and so what we did was shut his controller off and back on and then he did it instantly
 
Interesting... I think my friend was just being impatiant with me xD Didnt gimmi a chance to do it properly...
But I still aint done it.. Who knows if I'l ever do it.. tbh I cant be assed to keep trying haha no worth the hassle. I am pi-sed the game has parts like that in it though
 
sometimes its funny tho like that part were u had to keep running while the stuff was falling behind u me and my bro were laughing cause how many times we failed that cause we didnt notice the button switched on us

You may be doing the level wrong, since that was what me and my friend were doing. Make sure Wesker is attacking sheva when she runs across the second falling bridge. Then snipe with Chris, wesker, and button mash like crazy. This makes the button tapping much less. When she is up, go punch the hell out of the boulder.
 
That's what happened to me and my brother. But i don't know for sure, since he was pressing that button like crazy since he was ****ed
