I totally can't wait for this sequel to one of the best scary games ever. The dark descent (Amnesia Uno) scared the crap outta me when i played it

Is it for the PC? Graphics are a tad old school, but it's very scary nonetheless. In fact, I think it's a little too scary for my taste.

yes Amnesia is a really scary game. It is better than most of the scary games out there

That is because it is an indie game buddy. Indie games gotta work with what they got for money which means the graphics may not be great. graphics dont mean anything though

Amnesia isn't scary at all. It works by creating an atmosphere that will make you feel scared when something jumps out. If anyone actually finds this legitimately scary, I'm surprised. To me, for something to be scary it has to make me feel uncomfortable in real life. As if someone or something is watching me.

Been thinking of trying Amnesia out, is it really that scary?
It depends, how you define scary.
old RE: jump scares make you paranoid, that you expect things, where nothing is going to happen. And still caught off-guard elsewhere.
Amnesia: it's more being helpless -can't fight, just run, that makes you feel uneasy. But I wouldn't call it scary.

Have you played eXperince 112 -USA title: The Experiment(2009)?

I actually found the first Amnesia pretty scary, I liked the concept of being helpless, it's fictional and realistic at the same time. I will be looking foward for this sequel.

Yeah and sometimes the screen flipped upside down, the only thing that should happen should be like your heart starting to beat faster and you get heavier breathing and shiver and causing the creature to be able to hear you if you stare for too long.

I found Amnesia scary on my first playthrough, not knowing when and wearing the monsters might spring up and start chasing me. My only major gripe with the game is the fixed, utterly scripted enemy spawns; you'll inevitably begin to memorize where they'll shoot up. It takes away from the uncomfortable -- but oh-so enjoyable -- tension of navigating those creepy halls when you know that the first monster will always troy by at that very same point during every single trek through the game. I really hope the sequel finds a way to incorporate much less predictable enemy spawn patterns.

I've never had the screen flip upside down before, but I did find the wavy, ripply effect a bit of a nuisance when your 'insanity meter' starts to rise. I wouldn't mind seeing those bits scrapped.
