So for those of you who don't know, I'm currently in development of my first Novel! (Yay for me!)

But anyway, if you were to read it, what would you like to see? More slaughtering and mayhem? More dramatic/ Heart breaking?

Lemme know what y'all think.

I would remove the zombies and instead add killer goats.

Both. Divide it evenly between bloodshed/mayhem and drama/romance.

Killer Goats? Best save that for a humor novel parodying the zombie genre.

That is what I was thinking. That way when He/She dies, it makes it that much more dramatic. I have been thinking about this for a while, and thought of a prison before the walking dead, but now that they used that, it'll sound like a rip off.

Well a prison would be a popular place to go in a zombie apocalypse. It's secure and has an armory. So it wouldn't really be a rip-off, as many novels I have read about zombie apocalypses use prisons as safe areas.

A high-rise building is also a safe place, as the survivors can destroy the stairs to prevent the undead from getting up there. Unless of course, the zombies you plan on using can climb.

More like walking dead zombies, where zombies can sort of jog, but are still rather stupid.

Okay, so after many thought and writing I am finally done with the first draft.

The story follows Jeff and Kathy. They met during the zombie apocalypse, and they fall in love along the way.
Their main goal is to get to an island for safety. They arrive at San Nicolas, (One of the islands surrounding L.A.) and find that it's already inhabited my the US Navy. They gladly bring them in and they have a great system.
Months pass with safety, and I man comes to the island . . . But Something isn't right about this man . . . somethings off.
