Have you ever made any kind of Anime/Video game art?

AgentZero

Through that door, is a seperate reality.
Hey guys. So one of the things I like to do in my spare time is make video game inspired art. I'm not talking about drawings or paintings, but actual memorabilia. I haven't made much so far, (due to lack of material.) but my favorite thing to make is pyramid head helmets. I made my first one out of Styrofoam and duct tape for my Halloween outfit. The second was a miniature one for a small figurine made out of VERY durable cardboard.
I'm not exactly sure what I want to make next. I either want to do something soul eater inspired, (Maka's scythe AKA Soul) or DMC inspired. (Rebellion or Ebony and Ivory)

So have you ever made anything like that?

I don't, but my wife does all the time. She recently made me T-Virus vial necklace, she's made and MAKES all of our own Cosplay from scratch, and she's in the process of making Potara Earings. (Magic earrings from Dragon Ball Z). She will also soon star to make a Link outfit completely out of chainmaille.

That's pretty cool. Quick question, who is Link? I'm not entirely sure, but it's the main character of Zelda right?

...Yeah...Main character of The Legend of Zelda...How have you never played those games...
I did play one a REALLY long time ago for my Nintendo SP. I think I was like six at the time, and I couldn't figure out where to go so I gave up on it very quickly. Though if I had another chance to play it, I would definitely give it another shot.

It is quite possibly the greatest series of games EVER. I say that Resident Evil is my favorite series of all time, and it IS, however, it's no secret, even to a die hard like me that loved RE6, that the quality has gone down...The Legend of Zelda is the only game series I can think of where the quality was NEVER lost. Some games will of course stick out more than others, but the quality has NEVER gotten worse as the games progressed...I would REALLY recommend them...And the greatest thing is, for the most part they don't have to be played in order since all the Link's you play as are different. If I were you I would DEFINITELY play Ocarina of Time, Wind Waker, The Legend of Zelda (The Original game), Twilight Princess, and A Link to the Past...

Not sure if this is the kind of thing you mean but I made a plush toy of Venom from Guilty Gear. Also made him a pool cue (out of clay).
Also made a few clay figures mostly of Tekken and Guilty Gear characters. The best one was Zappa, he could actually balance on his hands and feet in his bending over backwards stance, even made his razor blade sword, but they broke during a move :( wonder if I still have the photos of Zappa somewhere.

These days I don't have the time or patience unfortunately. Would be fun to get back into it though.

I would like to try them again, I just don't have the means to play them. I don't know anyone that has these games . . . Or a Nintendo for that matter. I have been thinking about getting another Nintendo SP, so if I do, I'll definitely pick a couple up.

I would get a Wii. You can get them really cheap nowadays, and there are MANY games you would enjoy on them. You can play all the Zelda games I mentioned before, because you can buy them for Gamecube witch plays on the Wii, plus, you personally, would like the fact that the Wii has 5 different Resident Evil games you could buy...And if you're into other horror games, a good one called Obscure: The Aftermath. Right there is 10 different reasons to buy a Wii...Plus the cheap price..

Thanks for letting me know because I've been working on a character-model of Captain Commando (Capcom's original mascot) and thought of posting it here after completion
Yeah Man, go for it. I actually kinda wanna see it.

I need to fulfill my pledge of earning at least $1,000 by the closing of October/opening of November before shelling out 200 something dollars for the remaining materials needed to complete my previously mentioned character-model; Hope you can wait a while.

I've earned at least $1,000 but am planning to earn 200-300 something more dollars before shelling out money for remaining materials needed to complete my Captain Commando character-model.

Here is my Pyramid Head Costume and my friend's Silent Hill Nurse Costume . . . You can ignore the other people.

My wife and I cosplay, and as such have done multiple video game cosplay. My wife, friends, and myself are quite talented when it comes to making nerdy art (Or so we think at least lol), so here are a few we've done so far...
