For example, I would go with springfield armory m1911. Why? because of power of .45 ACP bullet and accuracy, but capacity may seem small for some people - having 8 rounds in magazine, 36 at all.

Well, in the RE games, all of the characters seem to hold handcannons with 2 hands. Besides, the term "handgun" generally refers to 9mm handguns, as opposed to magnums. But whatever floats your boat

Hand-gun, you know, even some magnums are handguns, but not giant s & w 500. Handcannon is not hand-gun, it's hand-cannon which nobody could shoot from one hand.

The S&W M500 is considered a handgun, it's a revolver which is considered a handgun and it is possible to hold, shoot, and lock the hammer back with one hand (It's recommended to be shot in two hands due to how powerful it is, but if you're strong enough it then you don't have to worry about holding it in two hands.).
