GWL shut down. What happens to Capcom games?

Hello all, it's been a while since I posted.

Since Games for Windows Live (GWL) is shutting down, there are some games that are getting free "migration" from GWL to Steam. Such as the Arkham series, which now can be redeemed at Steam using the CD-key provided for GWL, or if it's bugged WB games exchange it to a Steam key.

Does anyone know what will happen to the Capcom games that use GWL?
I'm curious about RE5 and Operation Raccoon City.

Thanks for your time, and sorry if this has been asked before!

I'm really hoping that Capcom take the same approach as WB games and accept activation keys via Steam, but I don't think Capcom have really openly discussed the situation. With GFW supposedly shutting down in July, it'd be great if Capcom could address the issue and let the fans know what's going on soon.

There's a lot of chatter about this on the Steam forum, with some fans raising concerns regarding how Resident Evil 5 in particular will require a fair amount of attention to continue operating as it should, as it currently relies on GFW to handle game saves and co-op matchmaking. Will Capcom really attempt to patch out GFW support? Would they even consider it worthwhile and cost-effective?

I don't want RE5 to die, it's actually one of my favourite co-op games. :(

@Steve Powell :I hope too Steve. WB Games is very helpful in this issue.
I had a problem with Steam accepting my Retail key for Arkham Asylum. Wrote an E-mail to WB support with photos that I own the game, and got a Steam key within 1 work day.

Would be nice if Capcom adresses this problem soon too. I know it's not beneficial or anything for them, but it's a reputation issue.

@ChrisRedfield1994 : That's true for most Co-op game :o
