Resident Evil 5 Got some questions

Alright I have a couple questions about the game
1. I have already beaten RE 5 if i were to go to chapter select and choose chapter 4-2 would i still be able to choose future chapters or would i have to replay all chapters after 4-2 and beat the game from there?
2. If i choose new game+ will i still be able to choose future chapters in chapter select.

Yes, but you would have to quit game after pressing start and save. Otherwise it would continue on chapter 4-2.
I think I answered both questions. Did you understand what I wanted to say?
