Gaiden (Game Boy Color) Gaiden, why can't I find you online?

hello! i've been browsing the web and i can't seem to find any information on my copy of Resident Evil Gaiden for GameBoy.

the only pictures and info i've found is based around the GameBoy Color edition (the one with the clear cartridge case). mine is in a gray GameBoy cartridge case and has Leon on the cover.

was this a misprint?

any info would be greatly appreciated and i can provide pics if needed~

Chances are, you have a pirated game. Resident Evil Gaiden was never released for the original Game Boy. By 2001 when it released, even Japan stopped producing black & white GB games.
What kind of pictures do you have?
