Final Fantasy VII PC

Square has recently stated, after multiple times denying it, they are remaking Final Fantasy VII on PC only. It will cost about £7.99/€9.99 ($12.50).There will also be an item called a "Character Booster", presumably a DLC used to increase level/stats. And yes, characters will now have non-microscopic elbows.

What a waste. Why re-release a game that was already easy and make it even easier by maxing out stats, health, items etc at the touch of a bottom?

This is 2012, where there are 3 main sections of gamers: graphics whores, massive idiots, and casuals. I'm assuming it's just a cheap way for square to make money. The character boosters will likely cost a bit of money.
