Long-running producer of the Resident Evil movies, Don Carmondy, who is also in charge of producing the upcoming Silent Hill: Revelations movie, has apparently confirmed that the fifth entry in the big screen adaptation of the Resident Evil series of games has been given the green light. According to the Toronto-based producer, the team in charge of bringing the flick to life are in presently writing up an ample Resident Evil-ish script before moving on.
The majority of the original cast will apparently be returning for the sequel — including Milla Jovovich reprising her role as Alice — and it is believed that the story will follow on from where Afterlife left off. This means we can most likely expect Jill Valentine to return, as well as Chris Redfield, Claire Redfield and perhaps even Wesker.
