^The cheesiness here actually positively contributes to the mystique and bloody-grim mood of the game, ironically. RE1 is just so full of accidental wins.
"Oh my Cod!" (Barry examining Forrests' corpse), and pretty much everything else Barry says. He is well needed comic relief on your first playthrough.
