Since the Resident Evil games are mostly about zombies, what are some of your favorite movies about zombies? Here is my list:
Night of the Living Dead: Both the original classic from 1968 and the remake from 1990. A scary film and the grandmother of all modern zombie movies about a group of complete strangers seeking shelter in an American farm house during a zombie apocalypse.
Day of the Dead: The original from 1985. A very dark and gritty zombie movie about a group of American soldiers and scientists seeking shelter in an underground missle silo in Florida and trying desperately to find a solution for the zombie apocalypse that has destroyed the world above, all while tensions start to build among the survivors as they come to realize that they may very well be the last humans left alive.
Zombie aka Zombi 2: An Italian zombie movie from 1979 about a group of people arriving on an island in the Caribbean that is home to a voodoo curse that brings the dead back to life. A doctor on the island tries hopelessly to figure out what is causing the phenomenon and to cure the infected islanders but the situation grows increasingly out of control.
Hell of the Living Dead: One of the worst zombie movies ever made (but in a great way!) from 1980 made in Italy. It rips off movies like Dawn of the Dead, Night of the Living Dead, Zombie, The Gates of Hell, and Contamination. The movie is about a chemical plant that accidentally releases a zombie virus in the island of New Guniea that turns the natives into flesh-eating zombies while a group of SWAT team members and a beautiful female reporter and her cameraman boyfriend arrive at the hellish island to investigate.
I know these movies are kind of old but frankly I don't like the newer zombie movies that much. Anyways that's my list.
