exactly what is counted toward your final time?

ever since i finished RE0 in 12 hours (don't ask), i've wondered exactly what counts toward the time you're given at the end of the game? like, when i'm in my inventory, item boxes, pause menu, viewing the map, is that all being counted?

I'm not exactly sure with RE0, but with RECVX EVERYTHING counts towards your time. Item box, select screen, etc.

hm, i bet if it's like that in CV, all the classics work that way. kinda sucks for me because the compulsive neat freak in me probably spends an hour per playthrough just organizing the item box lol

If Zero is like the original, you can't even pause the game. (Realized that when I was replaying the Director's Cut the other day. Pretty sure you can pause in RE2 and I know you can in 3, though.)

And if you can, then yes, the pause menu does count toward your final time because it's time spent inside the game.
