European elections

just wondering what peoples thoughts are on this, and if you are following it or not..
an example starter would be, what do you think about the BNP winning two seats in the European parliament, and what is to come of it?

I don't know nothing about the BNP, I suppose they are a British political party.

Norway is not member of the EU, so we didn't have elections. But a Norwegian won a seat nevertheless, Eva Joly (well known for her crusade against corruption in France) is a Norwegian AND French citizen, and a politician in France. I think she's in a so-called "green" party.

What I liked the most, is the Swedish elections. The Swedish Pirate Party got 7% of the votes and won a seat in Brussels.
