Dream game genre formats for the series?

I was just thinking about how I'd loooove to see a strategy RTS Resident Evil game, kinda like Aliens: Dark Descent

I'd also love a roleplay game but idk how they'd do that. I'm just biased because I always love roleplay games. Anyone else have a genre they'd love to see for some sort of spin-off?

I would hope the mainline games would stay the same

I think a 2D side scroller Metroidvania style game would be cool.

Hmm….this is an interesting question. I think most other there formats would take the horror out of it but I’d be down if they did a cartoon style side scroller like Streets of Rage 4. I love to draw cartoons as a hobby so yeah I’d be all over this lol

A racing game?? Like Mario Kart with RE characters in it and RE backrounds... that would be nice. Racing through racoon city and throwing shells!
