District 9

Zombie Enclave

Hey, who saw this yet?

I saw it. It was by far, the best alien movie I have saw. Possibly, best movie in 2009 so far. Not only was it interesting and didn't depend on explosions ( Example Transformers 2 and GI Joe ), but the way they made it, like a documentary, amazed me. And how the main character was not some buffed up military guy with the name " John " or something like that.

So, what did you think? If you have, well, saw it.

Oh yes it is funny how another Alien movie is out. To bad it looks like a cliche fest.

High School Musical actors vs. aliens = no contest

Use of Disaster Movie style writing = automatic FAIL

I didn't realise District 9 was out! It's #78 on IMDb's top 250 at the moment :D
It doesn't come out in the UK till early September :( Waaaaah

Dang man that sucks.

And yes I meant that stupid kids movie Aliens in the Attic. No competition between District 9 and that movie. Still, it sucks you have to wait till September.

It really is a good movie. Might be pretty sad. And it is kind of nasty at some parts. Like gory nasty, not sexual nasty. Also, I think there is another thing like this made by the same person, it was a short film. I think it was Down the road of Jauhanasberg ( Or something like that. )

oh i'll have to check it out then.
defnitely won't be checking out that aliens in the attic rubbish lol.
saw the trailer for that and no thanks.

Jeez, it's #26 at the moment on IMDb's Top 250. Woah.

This is the director's IMDb page, are you talking about Alive in Joberg?

There was a film called Have You Heard from Johannesburg? The Road to Resistance, but that had nothing to do with the District 9 people lol

I'm in Florida at the moment so it's rated R and seeing as I'm under 17, I have to have a parent or guardian with me. =D

really, if its R over here you have to be over 18

I heard that the UK is thinking of bringing in an 18A, so 15-17 year-olds can see it with an over-18 :D (no under 15s)

My 16 year old bro and I both love SAW and gory zombie movies, so we can see them together if this comes out!! yay!!

District 9 was one of the best films I have seen this year. It kept me interested for the entire length of the film and didn't feel like a cheesy alien movie.

The main character, unknown by me till the release of the film, was perfectly selected for the role. He made me laugh so many times with the use of the word "prawns" xD. But still, I don't think anyone else could have done a better job with the role, because he gave me the one thing i desired.. entertainment!
