custom avatar issues

I've been trying to upload a custom avatar since I have signed up and have had no luck. It seems that I am not the only one with this issue either. I have talked to a mod and tried everything that they suggested including using a different browser. I was then told to make a thread here to see if the issue could be resolved. So I guess that is what this is for.

No worries! Turns out it was down to dodgy PHP module installation, or something. We're not entirely sure, to be honest, so we just reverted back to an older option which didn't utilize the module.

Never be too afraid to ask! Steve rarely gets online, so he relies on people noticing problems and letting the staff know either via a private message, profile message or by posting a thread in this forum area. It's what it's here for, after all, so please feel free to make use of it if you need to
