Resident Evil 6 Campaign chapter medals not showing help please

Hello i played through leon story as helena i completed it with the medals showing when completing a chapter at the end but on chapter list it doesn't show a medal on chapter 3 ? Also i'm doing jake story now as i'm sherry i got medals up to chapter 3 and when i looked at the chapter list they weren't highlighted as in i haven't played the chapters yet ? but now i started chapter 5 the list chapters can be highlighted but it dont show my medals again but i got them at the end of the chapters ? does this still mean the whole campaign is still completed as it dont show the medals as i wont to unlock adas story after the 3 campaigns can someone help i hope i haven't confused you lol

yes i join someones game online while playing it as i find it more fun

Ah, okay yeah that's a known problem within the game! Unfortunatly none of your chapters have counted at all.

This video shows you exactly how to set everything up so that you both get the chapters to count and on the same difficulty:
